The Story
Winsor & Newton Sceptre Gold II 303 Calligraphy Brushes are perfect forĀ creating fine lines, scroll work and decorative lettering. The elongated round head shape offers longer bristles than the Designers' Brushes in this range, and make them more suitable for calligraphy and fine lines with good control.
These Calligraphy Brushes are suitable for use with watercolour, fluid oil, acrylic and Griffin Alkyd Fast Drying Oil Colours.
The Winsor & Newton Sceptre Gold IIĀ Brush Range is made from a combination of sable and synthetic hairs. TheĀ blend of natural and synthetic fibres gives this range softness and spring, and allows strong snap back to their original shape after use. This mixture of hairs also givesĀ great colour holding capacity, andĀ makes this range an economical choice for students and professionals who don't want to compromise on quality.
Cleaning:
- Wipe clean with a lint free cloth and rinse under running water.
- Using mild soap and cool water, swirl the soapy brush in the palm of your hand and rinse.
- Repeat until water runs clear.
- Squeeze or shake off excess water, then gently reshape the bristles and leave to dry.
