Derwent Charcoal Pencils are available in three grades and provide a wide tonal range from the deepest of blacks to the lightest of greys. These pencils are perfect for creating rich, dramatic drawings with varying tones from light greys to deep blacks

Derwent Charcoal Pencils are encased with wood  meaning there is less mess on your hands and smudging on paper. They feature a round 8mm barrel with a wide 4mm core. They provide excellent drawing control, while keeping the traditional charcoal effects you love.

They are suitable for use on pastel papers, mixed media or textured cartridge paper for quick sketches.
